To install License Server as service, do as follows:
- Extract service.zip to c:\terra\pool011 folder of your server PC.
- If you do not install License Server to its defauld folder c:\terra\pool011, please modify- until you do anything else - sections "Executable" and "WorkDir" of service\LaunchServ.ini file to correspond your file path structure.
- If the Access code of your License Server is not defined, please do it until you run ’Launch service'. Access code must be defined always before you install License Server as service. Please notice to register you server as well.
- Run Install Service.bat (admin rights required) to set Launch Service as Windows service and run License Server as backgound. Because License Server runs as service, you can modify its settings only by stopping first License Server service. Start then License Server as application to modify its settings.
- License Server starts as default always as service, when you start your server. You can manage Window Services - but not License Server - with Windowsin Service tools.
License Service has been tested in Windows XP ja 2000 . Probably it runs also in all other Windows-versions.
The Terrasolid service procedure is unofficial and therefore Terrasolid does not grant its functionality.
