TerraPipeNet is a versatile application for managing water and sewage pipelines. It is targeted for designers as well as staff in the water supply works. With TerraPipeNet you can view the networks as maps and generate reports of the network items like material, age, size etc. One major task is to manage maintenance and construction activities of the networks. At the moment the user’s interface is MicroStation but later on a intranet based system will be published.
TerraPipe is a design package on top of MicroStation. You can design 3D network models of pipelines or create them from existing pipelines by reading in survey data from total-stations, GPS or scanning 2D design maps of pipes for ditizing them. All the data, created in one way or another, can be stored into a database of TerraPipeNet. You can also restore data from TerraPipeNet to TerraPipe for designing, e.g. during network renovation.
