The training course will go through different steps to enhance the quality and accuracy of a Rotor Wing LiDAR project along a road segment. It includes misalignment calibration, adjustment to ground control using fluctuation corrections and modeling of asphalt area. Tie points measurements of control points on painted road marks are collected and used for adjusting the LiDAR data in plane and height. The road asphalt area is extracted and modeled by breaklines. The final result is a high quality road surface model.
