The version number consists of two parts: Major number and a Sub-number. For example, if the version number is 007.001, the Major number is 007 and the sub-number is 001.
To check your version number, please start MicroStation and load the Terrasolid application. Click then on About Application (e.g. About TerraScan under Generals) to open License Information window (see on right). The name and version number is displayed on the top of the window. The serial number is displayed on the Number row. PC-name is the name of your PC in your Windows network.
The form of the serial number is as follows:
Aabbbccccccc, where bbb shows, for which main version your license is valid. It shall match with the valid version number of the application you have installed.
If you need any User's Support, please check the full version number of the application, your serial number and the name of your PC (Computer). Then forward this information to Terrasolid or your local Supporter.
The major number changes once a year whereas the sub-number changes always when Terrasolid publishes a new version. The user needs a New License to run the new versions, whenever the main version changes. Therefore please keep Terrasolid aware about your User’s Contact Information always when it changes. We can provide you with the new licenses and can support you only, if we are sure about the recipient. Otherwise the licenses will be sent only by request.
